Michael Hogue has been trained in the art of professional Voice Acting by some of the best known Voice Talent and Sound Technicians in the business.
He brings to life a wide variety of characters. Voices range from young to old; wacky to serious; kind-hearted to villainous. As well as friendly, casual and confident reads for radio commercials and narration.
During his career, his love of Animation and Advertising lead him to become a professional Character and Effects Animator with well-known animation studios for over 20 years. He has worked on full productions of hand-drawn Feature Films, Nintendo Games, Commercials, award-winning Television and Internet Cartoons ranging from Preschool, to Saturday Morning, to popular Teenage Drama cartoons!
He is a published Writer and Illustrator of his own storybooks and graphic novels.
He also enjoyed being an on-camera Teacher of Animation and Design on a popular
“G4 Tech TV” television show for several years.
This on-camera and behind the scenes work experience gives him a unique understanding of the complete studio process. As well as knowledge of character acting, exaggeration, expression, lip-sync, and timing for comedy and drama.
